**Job Description**:
The Marker Maker is responsible for the creation and distribution of markers for Canada Goose and all its vendors. This position is accountable for creating markers with the Gerber Accumark System to achieve the best material utilization possible. Markers are tailored to specific Purchase Orders and to the cutting room standards of individual vendors.

**Qualifications**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Creating and updating sample and production markers in the Gerber Accumark system
- Creating markers for best material utilization while respecting pattern and fabric quality boundaries
- Plotting and/or preparing electronic files for individual vendors/production orders (POs) according to the timelines on Production Schedule
- Calculating yields for costing and material ordering purposes
- Maintenance of plotters and tracking of plotters’ utilization
- Responsible for the maintenance of plotters
- All other duties as assigned

**Experience, Education and Designations**:

- College Degree or Diploma in apparel design and manufacturing
- 2-3 years’ experience in marker making
- 2-3 years’ experience using Gerber Accumark, experience with other CAD systems an asset
- 2-3 years’ experience working with cutting rooms, familiarity with both auto and manual cutting

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

- Knowledge of pattern making & sewing is an asset
- Experience with outerwear garments is an asset
- Ability work independently, with little supervision
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Should be organized, detail oriented, team player, multi-task oriented
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills required to build relationships across the business
