**Construction Site Support Specialist**

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Construction Site Support Specialist to join our commercial flooring team. This role involves supporting operations by handling material deliveries, moving and organizing heavy materials at job sites, and driving company vehicles, including delivery vans or trucks. The position offers growth opportunities to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time, making it an excellent starting point for someone interested in the construction and flooring industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Deliveries and Transportation**:

- Load and unload flooring materials and supplies safely into delivery vehicles.
- Drive delivery vans or trucks to transport materials to job sites in a timely manner.
- Verify delivery accuracy by checking materials against packing slips and job site requirements.
- **Material Handling**:

- Move and organize heavy materials such as tiles, vinyl, laminate, hard wood flooring, leveling material and adhesives around job sites.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Use equipment like dollies, and pallet jacks, to move materials efficiently.
- **Site Support**:

- Assist the installation team by preparing materials and ensuring supplies are readily available.
- Perform general site support tasks, including cleanup, waste removal, and basic labor as needed.
- **Own Transportation**:

- May be required to meet at job sites around the Lower Mainland using a personal vehicle.
- **Growth Opportunities**:

- Learn about the commercial flooring industry, including installation techniques and project management, through hands-on experience and training.
- Take on additional responsibilities as skills and experience grow, such as assisting with installations or managing site logistics.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Previous experience in delivery, construction, or material handling is an asset but not required.
- **Skills**:

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to [weight limit, e.g., 50-75 lbs.]) safely.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- **Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving vans or trucks.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
