**Job Description**:
Join one of the largest architectural firms in the world while retaining the chance to work in a boutique style team on some of the highest profile jobs in Toronto We are currently seeking an experienced **Project Manager** to join our Toronto practice to work with our high-rise residential and commercial projects.
**Most of the things you’ll work on**:
- Oversee and, if needed, actively participate in the preparation of documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, details, models, and renderings
- Oversee selection of building systems and associated documentation
- Acting as an agent of the client, conduct field observations and report progress of construction to the client
- Lead project coordination and site meetings with all stakeholders
- Determine staffing needs and recommend personnel
- Motivate project teams
**Qualifications**:
**You'll need to have**:
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or a University Degree in Architecture
- Current standing with OAA ideal
- Minimum 10 years of related experience with proven experience leading and managing projects
- Previous experience working on mid-rise and high-rise residential projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry associated standards
- Ability to hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively
- Strong client relationship and leadership skills; ability to check work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage team to meet project budget and schedule
- Experience overseeing development of building documentation in modeling/drafting software (Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD)
- Strong documentation skills
- Site experience is an asset but not a necessity
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong understanding of project financials

Additional Information
We are currently in a work from home model during COVID-19, but when we do return to the office we're located at 55 St. Clair Ave West, this office is steps away from St. Clair station and is easily accessible by bike, TTC and car. Occupying 7 floors, with over 700 employees, it is the largest office at Arcadis IBI Group. The floors are open concept and represent our collaborative approach to projects.
