You are able to develop an awareness of developments and opportunities that arise to promote Israeli business and economic interests. This could be an excellent opportunity to work in an international setting with leaders in government, trade, innovation and technology.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Identifying and fostering potential partnerships between Israeli and Canadian economic sectors.
- Assuming all aspects of business development, including cultivating contacts, developing relationships with business, government, and industry leaders, and following news and trends.
- Organizing trade missions, economic collaboration activities (webinars/workshops/panel discussions) and networking events.
- Facilitating and managing economic aspects of visits by senior government officials and other VIPs;
- Preparing briefing materials, presentations and speeches;
- Cooperating with other organizations, associations, and government offices to plan and oversee events and trade missions.
- Building and maintaining a network of professionals to help support Israeli business and trade.
- Helping Israeli exporters find the resources and contacts needed to enter or expand into the Canadian market.
- Using social media tools for business development and trade promotion.

**What do we ask of you?**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- At least two years relevant professional work experience;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Strong networking abilities;
- Ability to respond flexibly and imaginatively to challenges;
- Ability to coordinate conflicting priorities within tight deadlines and meet work targets.
- Excellent planning, organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Willingness and ability to occasionally work evenings/ weekends.
