Credit Analyst

**Tire Discounter Group (TDG)** is a leading Canadian distributor of branded tires. TDG was founded in 1966, and since 1990 has expanded to distribution centers in Barrie, Ottawa, London, Richmond Hill, Toronto, Hamilton and our 240,000 square foot, state of the art Headquarters in East Garafraxa, just outside Orangeville, ON. TDG is seeking a **Credit Analyst** for the next **10 weeks** to help get through our busy season.

**Requirements**:

- Effective oral & written communication skills
- Ability to multitask with strong time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Experience using NetSuite
- Proactive approach to performing collections duties
- Thorough understanding of A/R function and risk management
- College diploma (Accounting background)
- Enrolled in CCP program (an asset)
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar role

**Job Duties**:

- Provide collections efforts for all TDG locations
- Follow up on order release requests for all locations
- Gather info and assess credit worthiness of new customers
- Extend terms up to $50k on new customers (seek approval on higher limits)
- Negotiate with customers to accelerate payments on delinquent accounts
- Reassess credit terms and limit as needed & obtain appropriate approval
- Escalate issues to Manager if additional assistance is needed
- Update and maintain customer contact information
- Follow up on customer payment discrepancies for quick resolution
- Follow up on customer requests (invoice copies, statements etc)
- Participate in general clerical functions in department
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
