**Summary**
As a summer position the first aid attendant would be a great position for someone who has the ability to communicate effectively with our guests and who has excellent written skills to document incidents accurately. You will be one of the first employees to any incident in the amusement park by treating minor to major injuries accordingly. This will be a multi-functional role where you will be selling gift shop items, processing season pass redemption's and answering guests questions and assisting in first aid incidents. We employ many students looking for summer work, making for a great experience and the opportunity to meet new friends. We provide a flexible work schedule for all employees. **Job Duties**
- Be the first employee to minor or major injuries in the amusement park or surrounding area
- Treat injuries accordingly and ensure to document in detail the incident.
- Communicate with appropriate supervisor of when an incident is reported to ensure proper shut down methods if needed.
- Effectively communicate with office on whether further medical assistance is needed
- Effectively communicate with guest about treatment given
- Answer guest questions about the amusement park or island, process season pass redemption's, process transactions
- Other duties may be assigned

**Requirements**:

- First Aid & CPR certification
- Experience working in a first aid position
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in stressful conditions
- Ability to deescalate situations
- Excellent problem-solving skills

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
