Apprentice Glazier

Inline Glasscraft Ltd. is looking for a full time permanent Apprentice Glazier to fill the position of Installer.

This opening is in the Residential and Light Commercial Glazing Industry. We require applicants with good communication skills in English, both written and oral. Employees are required to meet in the shop and go to job sites from there. Sites can be located all over Vancouver, including North & West Van as well as Sea-to-Sky.

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Take direction from Lead Hand or office to complete work
- Read and interpret drawings
- Install glass as per the shop drawings & instructions from Lead Hand or office. This may include storefront, frameless showers, mirrors, glass handrails, glass backsplash or architectural metals.
- Follow company safety policies as well as site safety policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Have own vehicle and valid class 5 driver's license. Employees are responsible for getting to the shop on time.
- Organized
- Have own basic work tools for the trade, and PPE equipment such as steel toe boots, hard hat and hi vis vest
- Good math skills in both imperial and metric.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
