**Scope/ Overview of Position**:
Launched in 1979 as a wholesale and distribution company, SDR has transformed itself into a leader in the North American 3PL market, specializing in the fashion, footwear, accessories, and related soft goods fulfillment market niche. Well known within the industry for its attention to detail and the constant strive for perfection, SDR’s success has been supported by a top-notch Warehouse Management system (Manhattan Scale) with RF inventory control and a fully compliant EDI communication solution.

SDR hosts a clientele base in excess of 100 customers with over 1000 vendors. Our footprint is in excess of 2 million square feet throughout North America.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- You are impeccably organized and use this skill to multi-task in a variety of warehouse operations
- Oversee customer service requests and follow up on any outstanding issues
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouse
- Manage workforce for scheduling of staff, daily work direction and supervision including HR management issues
- Ensure safe working conditions including training employees on proper safety methods
- Manage the WMS system for the purpose of entering orders and verifying order accuracy
- Verify work orders upon completion for accuracy and compliance with billing
- Work with UPS shipping software
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications, Education and Experience Required**:

- A minimum High School diploma is required
- 2-3 years of related customer service and admin experience
- 2-3 years of team lead or supervisory experience
- 5 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
- Knowledge and experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems is an asset
- Forklift experience an asset
- You can handle many tasks at the same time and meet deadlines, while keeping cool
- You are approachable, positive and enthusiastic.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- You are a quick learner with other software systems
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work with all levels of staff
- Excellent organizational skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Overtime is a requirement of this position, as is occasional weekend work.
