At WinSport, our Guest Services Team is essential to creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Guest Services Team Member, your primary mission is to deliver exceptional customer service at the Guest Services desk, Call Centre, and Rental Shop.

**What you will be doing**:
- **Deliver Exceptional Service**: Provide outstanding guest service by addressing questions and offering detailed knowledge about WinSport’s programs, attractions, directions, and rental equipment
- **Engage with Guests**: Greet and interact with guests at all touch points, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere as one of the first points of contact during their visit. Respond to guest questions about WinSport and the surrounding area, ensuring they have all the information they need for a great experience.
- **Create a Fun Environment**: Foster a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for guests and team members alike.
- **Manage Busy Periods**: Maintain high-quality service even during peak times, effectively handling guest comments, inquiries, and requests. Address guest concerns professionally, escalating issues to leadership when necessary
- **Handle Multiple Tasks**: Efficiently manage various priorities while ensuring quality service remains the focus
- **Process Transactions**: Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, cash outs, and reconciliations.
- **Prioritize Safety**: Adhere to all WinSport safety policies, ensuring a safe environment for yourself, your teammates, and our guests.
- Guest Services Desk & Call Centre specific responsibilities:
- Communicate available services, products, and events to help guests make informed decisions.
- Process program registrations, passes, and daily tickets with accuracy.
- Ensure waivers are completed correctly.
- Rental Shop specific responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the set-up, delivery, and return of rental equipment, including ski, snowboard, and bike gear.
- Assist guests in completing rental waivers and paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Inspect rental equipment for safety and functionality, coordinating with Rental Technicians for any necessary repairs.
**What you bring**:
- **Experience**: 1+ years in guest service; winter sports or recreation experience is a plus
- **Cash Handling**: Previous experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- **Communication**: Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, guest-friendly attitude
- **Team Dynamics**: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage stress effectively.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on detail and quality in service delivery.
- **Decision-Making**: Capable of making independent, time-sensitive decisions.
- **Energy and Initiative**: Proactive, energetic, and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in computer and keyboard skills
**Employment Dates & Times**
- Seasonal position beginning in November
- **Full time and part time positions available**:
- Mandatory training on November 1st to 3rd
- Holiday availability is required between December 22nd to January 6th
- Flexible to work a variety of shift times and hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Full availability on weekends in November-March is required.
**You will be**:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Heavy lifting, including bending and reaching
- Performing task that require manual dexterity and computer use
