Langley, Canada Lemon Bakery Ltd. Full time

**Overview**
We are looking for a individual with 1-2 years experience in a bakery or kitchen setting. Baking education is an asset. Must have basic knowledge of kitchen safety and be comfortable working with ovens independently. **You must be able to lift 20kg** and be able to stand for your whole shift.

Shifts will vary including early morning opening.

**Duties**
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including quick breads, cookies, scones, cakes, bars, muffins, cupcakes, etc.
- Assist with decorating cakes and other baked goods with creativity and attention to detail.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Opening bakery and doing the morning bake off
- Packing orders, cookies, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers when needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- A passion for baking and creating delicious products

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
