Electronics & Instrumentation Technician

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Perform TQC checks and update documentation for audit purposes.
- Will provide expertise on special projects involving systems within their level of skills.
- Responsibilities also include implementing new improvements and projects related to instrumentation field.
- Day position, but from time to time may be required to come in and assist in repairs apart from regular hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

**Requirements**:

- Proven skills in Instrumentation Field.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting instrumentation issues along with identifying reliability and optimization opportunities.
- Completing assigned tasks in a timely, safe and accurate manner, overcoming barriers and engaging others when required.
- Strong computer skills; MS Office, Windows, Calibration Software.
- Experience with FTV SCADA would be an asset.
- Experience with process control systems within a food-processing environment is an asset.
- Strong problem solving competencies with troubleshooting experience in their field.
- Must have either Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma / CET Certification or Journeyman Instrument Mechanic.
