Sports Store Floor Manager

Are you passionate about sports and retail? Pete's Sports is looking for a Retail Floor Manager to lead our team and keep the store running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a sports oriented environment, mentoring staff, and ensuring customers have the best shopping experience possible.

**Some of what you’ll do**:

- Oversee and support a small team of retail associates
- Create and manage weekly staff schedules
- Handle opening and closing procedures
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and coordinate with vendors
- Ensure store standards, merchandising, and displays are maintained
- Assist with training new employees and fostering a positive work environment
- Drive sales by coaching staff and engaging with customers on the sales floor
- Assist with sales, product repairs, and skate sharpening

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous retail or supervisory/management experience **(sports retail an asset)**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Comfortable making decisions and solving problems on the spot
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Interest in sports and product knowledge is a preferred strong advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
