Glenora Child Care Society is looking for a caring, nurturing, and dedicated ECE to join the team as a room support.

The position is well suited for an ECE who would like to gain experience in a non-profit while working in an established well-known centre.

The position is for an ECE Room Support mainly working with toddlers but also may work with children 12months-12years.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience working with children
- Likes to play and get messy
- Values the importance of outdoor play, Winter PLAY
- Creates learning environments both inside and outside
- Support the holistic development of all children.
- Nurtures and values creating strong relationships with children and families
- Forms collaborative partnerships with families.
- Advocates for children, families and the childcare profession
- Enjoys team collaboration and mentoring/support growth in one another
- Can mentor others.
- Has an understanding for licensing and health regulations
- **Ability to work rotating shifts between the hours of 7am - 6pm**:

- A class 4 license is an asset, but not required

**Hourly rate is dependent on ECE level and experience, Level 2 starting $17/hr, Level 3 starting $19/hr, plus additional wage top-up based on certification level. Prefernce is given to ECE level 3.**

Pay: Up to $27.62 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
