**Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct preliminary patient screenings
- Perform diagnostic tests
- Assist ophthalmologists with patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Dilation of patients
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for procedures
- Assisting with general office administration work
- Cross training where applicable
**Educational Requirements**
- Grade 12 education
- Ophthalmic Assistance Certificate or equivalent experience
- Accuro software experience is an asset
- Strong written and verbal Communications
- Attention Detailed and Accurate Record Keeping
- Team oriented
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
6 month probation period applies and benefits become available once the probation period is over.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
