**About the position**:
We’re growing and looking to add a **Bookkeeper** to our team Reporting to our Office Manager, our Bookkeeper is involved in managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial procedures and supporting the Office Manager and team with various tasks. If you’re organized, proactive and excited to grow with us, we would love to hear from you
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead Accounts Receivable, including monthly invoicing and billing, cheque deposits, credit card payments
- Assist with Accounts Payable, including credit card reconciliations as well as vendor payments, reconciliations and audit
- General ledger reconciliations including bank accounts, credit cards and clearing accounts
- Post and maintain journal entries
- HST/PST/EHT/WSIB and various CRA payments and installments
- Assist external accountant to complete corporate year end statement
- General office duties such as filing, answering the billing dept phone
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years of previous professional Bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts
- Conscientious and reliable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills coupled with assertive and confident disposition
- Continuous learner
**Nice to have**:
- Previous experience with QuickBooks online
- Analytical nature

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
