Security Site Manager-fraser Valley

The **Security Site Manager** is responsible for managing and overseeing four post secondary campuses in the Fraser Valley. This position requires a high energy individual who has the capability to multitask and effectively lead and mentor a team of 15 + security professionals. The successful applicant must lead by example and set a high standard of service for both customers and client alike.
Location: Fraser Valley
**Job Duties**
Patrols as needed
Delegate access and service requests to staff, conduct them yourself if needed
Respond to first aid or other incidents
Incident Commander during all significant incidents unless relieved of command by higher authority
Review reports with shift supervisors
- Escalate significant issues to client
- Correct spelling, grammar, or other issues prior to client review and coach staff on any shortcomings
- Confirm SOP's followed during incident response; coach or train staff in response if needed
Meet with internal manager to review reports and incidents, upcoming events and other issues
Always available and visible to provide top quality customer service to all members of the campus community
Train and mentor officers on site duties and protocols, as well as site conduct, deportment, reporting procedures, and company policy/procedures
Carry out investigations into thefts, harassment, assault or other incidents in coordination with internal security management
On call for site emergencies at all campus locations
Review schedule with assigned head office scheduler, assist as needed
Review recruiting needs with assigned head office recruiter, provide availability for second interviews and training for new hires
Review service levels with assigned head office operations manager; discuss needs for recognition or awards to officers, as well as coaching, training or disciplinary needs
Work with supervisors to conduct Health and Safety Audits, Tool Box Talks, and Site Hazard Assessments
Work with supervisors to audit first aid and emergency equipment
Work with supervisors to audit functionality of access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems
Participate in service review meeting with internal security management and head office operations manager. Site Manager will take a lead role in addressing client concerns
Review staffing needs and overtime with head office operations manager and scheduler
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by internal security management or head office operations manager
**Requirements**:
High School Diploma, College Diploma or certificate an asset
Have minimum 3+ years of security experience in a Site Supervisor or Manager capacity.
Have minimum 5+ years of experience in the security industry.
Valid Security Worker License required
OFA II or III
Strong communicator with assertive interpersonal skills, sensitivity and team player are critical to success
A positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude is an imperative in dealing with Securiguard, clients, or other personnel
Demonstrated attributes in supervision, decision making, organizing, problem solving, analytical skill, interpersonal sensitivity and tolerance are required
Basic computer skills required/ advanced computer skills preferred
Effective and professional written and oral skills are necessary to minimize communication errors or misunderstandings in a Field environment where English may frequently be a second language. Fluency or knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or Filipino an asset
