Cultivation Technician

This position requires physical demands such as reaching, bending, walking, standing, performing repetitive work and lifting to 50 lbs. **Key Responsibilities**: - Various crop care, including transplanting, potting, de-leafing, pruning, and pinching plants - Engages in room loads & room levels - Installs and adjusts trellis for optimal cannabis growth and according to standard - Takes moisture readings and determining watering needs; - Responsible for general housekeeping of production area; - Cleans and sanitizes equipment, pots, trays, etc. as per Health Canada standards; - Organizes and maintains materials, restocks supplies when needed; - Collects samples for Cultivation R&D; - Updates and tracks cultivation activities using a variety of methods including Organigrow, charts, calendars, and whiteboards; - Other duties and tasks as assigned. **Qualifications**: - Strong sense of work quality and safety; - Effortlessly takes direction and follows through on tasks; - Capable of working both independently and on a team; - Good communication skills both written and verbal; - Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills; - Attention to detail with good analytical and observational skills; - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; - Fall arrest training would be considered an asset.
