**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Support Worker to join the Warehouse team at our manufacturing facility in Oak Bluff.

In this role, you would be responsible for ensuring that inbound material is unloaded, stored, and tracked in an organized and efficient manner.

**The Team**

This role will work within a dynamic team of shippers and kitters, as well as collaborating with departments such as finance and purchasing. The Warehouse Support Worker would report directly to the Materials Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Unloading inbound trucks and ensuring that material is stored and organized effectively
- Assist with inspection of incoming material to ensure it meets quality standards
- Enter material information into Made2Manage ERP system to ensure proper tracking of inventory
- Regular communication with management to understand workflow priorities and to communicate any challenges or concerns
- Provide support to the shipping team, preparing and loading orders to be shipped to customers
- Ensuring that all materials stored in the yard is highly organized and accounted for
- Communicate with drivers and delivery personnel entering the yard to ensure that we are aware of the material handling requirements
- Complete tasks safely and in accordance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Assist in the Kitting area and picking parts for orders as needed
- Provide inventory support as necessary
- Crosstrain throughout the different areas of the warehouse in order to provide the best possible support within the team
- All other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience operating a Forklift
- Positive work experience at AGI VIS, within the past 3 months
- Attendance and absenteeism within the acceptable limits (as outlined in the AGI VIS Attendance Management Program)
- Ability to work positively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making ability
- High level of English reading, writing and comprehension skills
- Self-directed, results orientated and able to work under tight deadlines
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Previous experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing would be considered an asset
