Our Product Pricing & Monetization team plays a critical function in that mission, operating at the intersection of product and commercial and unlocking value across our product roadmap and go to market strategy. Together we are responsible for building holistic pricing and packaging recommendations for our entire Merchant Services product suite.

As our team continues to expand, we are looking to add a **Product Pricing Analyst** to support pricing & packaging recommendations for our **Merchant Lending and Banking Services** products.

Merchant Lending and Banking Services portfolio includes our financial products such as Shopify Capital, Balance and Rewards. This role will work closely with product, sales, marketing, data, engineering and finance teams. Your work will be highly visible to Shopify leadership and will fuel Shopify’s ability to make commerce better for everyone.

**Responsibilities**
- Partner with stakeholders in product, partnerships, marketing, data, engineering and finance to help inform pricing recommendations by understanding the unit economics and revenue and cost levers that impact the product’s financial health.
- Monitors product trends and KPIs to create valuable insights that help drive product objectives.
- Support through phases of the go-to-market pricing cycle by collaborating with product management, and product marketing teams to develop the product value propositions and positioning.
- Contributes to the operational aspects of pricing implementation, including billing requirements, sales enablement and pricing optimization.
- Seeks out new industry knowledge and shares implications back with the stakeholder team.

**Qualifications**:

- Preferred experience in payments, credit cards, loans, or small business banking.
- Experience working with Excel/Google Sheets, and comfortable providing data-driven decision-making support.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to creatively solve problems.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills with an ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Superior time management and organizational skills - ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines and address challenges in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable you to communicate complex ideas in a simple & easy to understand way for any audience
- Ability to thrive in a fast moving environment and pivot quickly as needed.
- Growth mindset that is always curious and being a continuous learner.
- A passion for pricing and willingness to get hands-on when building solutions.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience delivering Pricing and Go-to-Market recommendations (in product, marketing, finance, or consultancy roles).
- Experience with running pricing research including conjoint and other direct pricing studies.
- Experience with SQL.
