On behalf of our client here in Vancouver,
** Ignite Technical Resources **is looking for a
**Linux Laptop Build Specialist **for a
**contract opportunity.**

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Linux Laptop Build Specialist for a short-term project. As a specialist, your task will be to build 6 Linux laptops from scratch. Your expertise will ensure the creation of reliable, efficient, and secure systems that meet our organization's needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build, configure, and deploy 6 Linux laptops from scratch, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Collaborate with the client’ team to define system specifications and customize configurations to meet specific needs.
- Implement security measures and best practices to ensure system integrity and data protection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system configurations and performance.
- Document system build processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in building and configuring Linux-based systems from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of Linux distributions, installation procedures, and system customization.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools for system provisioning.
- Familiarity with system security practices and the implementation of firewalls, access controls, and encryption. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage the build project.
