**Lions Gate Fisheries Ltd.**is seeking to hire **20 Fish Plant Workers** to start immediately. We operate year-round with no seasonal layoffs.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Cut, clean and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing
- Scrape away scales, cut fish, separate fillets and remove scrap parts using a knife
- Cut sections according to specifications and place in container for weighing
- Operate machines to process fish and seafood products
- Operate machines to package fish and seafood products
- Record production information such as quantity, weight, date and type of products packaged
- Clean work areas and equipment

**Skills Requirements**:
**Education**: No Minimum Education Requirements

**Work Experience**:No Experience Required

**Skills Requirements**:Must be able to comfortably use a sharp knife in a highly-repetitive environment; Must be able to lift 40 lbs; Must be able to work in a cold, damp environment

**Job Title**:Fish Plant Worker (NOC 94142)

**Salary**: $17.50/hour; After 6 months of continuous employment, employees are eligible to receive up to an additional $1.50/hour in discretionary safety and performance bonuses

**Benefits**: Extended Health Benefits (including Dental) available after 90 days

**Hours Per Week**:At least 30 hours per week

**Overtime**: Paid after 8 hours per day

**Terms of Employment**:Full-Time, Permanent
