- Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Clean, degrease and primer both component parts and finished products.
- Painting of various assets and or components.
- Sandblasting of equipment and components.
- Sanding, taping and other prep work.
- Mixing of paints.
- Responsible for all painting equipment maintenance, guns, compressors, paint and sand blast booths.
- Mechanical knowledge with “hands on approach” as needed.
- Ensures all aspects of painting and sandblasting areas are in compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in commercial sandblasting and painting including trucks, trailers, and miscellaneous equipment.
- Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment and machinery including various types of painting equipment, blasting equipment assorted hand tools, etc.
