**Job Description**:
**AECOM **is seeking an Architectural Technologist to be based in Kitchener.

Job Summary:

- Work on design and drawing production for municipal, commercial and industrial projects;
- Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements and other technical documents and reports;
- Prepare and coordinate 2D drafting and 3D modelling assignments with project managers, architects, engineers and other technologists from initial project stage through to project completion;
- Work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to produce construction documents;
- Coordinate 2D drawings and 3D models with other disciplines, construction specifications, vendor drawings, and other construction documents;
- Work proficiently in AutoCAD and Revit;
- Follow group practices and prescribed project standards;
- Ensure that project needs are met in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Architectural Technology Diploma or related post-secondary program + 2 years of relevant experience

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with tight deadlines and under pressure
- Attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Proficient knowledge of construction specifications and contract administration
- Knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada and other codes/regulations in North America
- Open to new experiences and learning new skills
- Desire to progress towards an A.Sc.T. status
- Self-motivated with versatility and initiative
- Positive, energetic, and helpful attitude
- Proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal communication skills is mandatory
