**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure that all cargo is loaded and secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo, which may involve heavy lifting.
- Utilize forklift equipment as needed for loading/unloading operations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 5 License with Air brakes endorsement.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with dispatchers and customers.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during transportation.
