A receptionist is responsible for receiving and directing visitors and inquiries, relaying and coordinating resident and staff messages by use of telephone, intercom, nurse call and P.A. system. Receptionists are required to be organized, patient and punctual.

General duties include but are not limited to:

- Administers and accounts for petty cash as required.
- Receives and screen visitors, contractors and delivery personnel and announces them to proper persons
- Maintain visitors log
- Answers telephone, relays messages to proper persons.
- Sorts and processes incoming and outgoing mail. Redirects mail as instructed
- Reception of parcels
- Clerical and office duties as required

Required: knowledge of office software such as excel and word. minimum education: Grade 12. Must have the ability to deal with the public and residents in a pleasant manner. Available to work weekends on rotation.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 5 hr/ 8 hr shift
- Day shift
- Weekends
- Vacation coverage

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff members are required to follow public health guidelines and where the appropriate PPE in the workplace.
