**Job Summary**:
As an **Instrument Specialist** for our **Safety Assessment** team at the **Senneville** location, you will be helping with issues related to the support of the equipment and instruments used, and will be a resource to the technical group.

In this role, primary **responsibilities**include:

- Perform routine system maintenance and verification of laboratory instruments in compliance with SOP’s, safety procedures and biosafety protocols, and GLP regulations;
- Perform trouble shooting and repair of laboratory instruments;
- Participate in the set up, configuration and qualification of the instrumentation necessary to implement the tests in the laboratory;
- Understand the interactions between the different components that make up the instrument in order to target the cause of a problem;
- Perform or participate in the creation of IQ/OQ/PQ procedures for equipment and instruments.

**Key Elements**:
We are looking for the following **minimum qualifications** for this role:

- College diploma in analytical chemistry or in laboratory sciences;
- One year of experience require in laboratory sciences;
- Able to take initiative and solve problems autonomously;
- Able to work physically occasionally (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).

- Annual bonus based on performance;
- ** Schedule**: Monday to Friday during the day;
- Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
