**Your primary Responsibilities will include the following**:

- Assist with all aspects of environmental compliance and management including air, water and land emissions at a large integrated pulp and paper facility.
- Coordinate external and internal environmental monitoring and abatement projects ensuring government reporting requirements are satisfied.
- Conduct audits and inspections to determine the effectiveness of environmental and risk management programs.
- Participate in the maintenance of the sites emergency and preparedness and response plan.
- Provide support for routine and emergency environmental issues and assist with the successful maintenance and improvement of the site’s environmental management system.

**Your profile**:

- Environmental or Chemical Engineering degree coupled with at least 2 years of industrial experience.

**Your skills and assets**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills required, including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment
- Good communication skills with excellent strategic thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to balance priorities that meet short and long-term objectives; uses organized and efficient work methods;
- Proficient analytical skills required as well as a strong background in MS Office and Outlook.
