E1 Health is looking for a customer-facing individual who loves helping people. The Medical Patient Transfer Driver will play a key role in the operations at E1 Health. This role entails driving patients between health care facilities and taking care of each passenger with outstanding, attentive service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Drive a stretcher or wheelchair van
- Help load a patient in a wheelchair or stretcher into the vehicle
- Communicate with patients in a friendly, helpful manner
- Practice safe, defensive driving
- Communicate with company and healthcare staff
- Remind and assist patients to self-administer medications

Skills & Requirements:

- Live near Goderich Hospital
- Grade 12 OSSD or equivalent diploma
- Valid Standard First Aid Level C certificate (preferred)
- Valid 'G' Ontario Driver's License
- Clean Driver's Abstract and insurance history
- Clean police record and VSC
- Experience working in patient transport is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Must possess solid organizational skills, be a self-starter, able to work with limited supervision and be capable of handling multiple assignments concurrently
- Possess good hygiene and cleanliness
- Current immunization records
- Ability to assist infirm and elderly passengers
- Willingness to learn and improve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
