**Description**:
The **Senior Facility Inspector** is based at the Heartland Petrochemical Complex (HPC) and reports to the Manager, Facility Integrity & Chief Inspector. This role supports IPL’s strategy to operate all assets in a safe, compliant and reliable manner. The primary functions of this position are to fill the role of In-Service Pressure Vessel Inspector, oversee inspection contractors and ensure the commitments of the Facility Integrity Program are being fulfilled for the assigned portion of the facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Liaison with ABSA for all inspection and reporting on pressure equipment including routine inspection of operating pressure equipment, and alterations or repairs to pressure equipment
- Support effective turnaround planning and execution
- Update, validate and evergreen of the RBI program inputs and equipment schedules
- Coordination of and reporting results of pressure equipment inspection, along with rectifying non-conformances
- Ensuring a pressure equipment file is maintained for each piece of pressure equipment
- Investigating near misses and incidents involving pressure equipment
- Maintaining copies of applicable Acts, Regulations, codes and standards
- Supports the development of and maintains the following:

- Corrosion Control Manuals and Integrity Operating Windows for all equipment and process units
- Corrosion circuits and condition monitoring locations
- Site-specific inspection procedures and programs
- Assists with developing budgets and managing costs
- Monitors asset health and Integrity Operating Window compliance
- Support Implementation and upkeep of the PCMS 24 month lookahead

**Education, Qualifications and Experience**:

- 7+ years of experience working at a petrochemical or refining facility and being directly involved with a well-defined, well-functioning Pressure Equipment Integrity Management Program including an RBI program
- Understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, and CSA.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Codes Act, Pipeline Act and their associated Regulations.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite
- The following certifications are required:

- ABSA In-Service Pressure Vessel Inspector
- API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector
- API 570 Piping Inspector
- API 580 Risk Based Inspection (optional)
- API 653 Storage Tank Inspector (optional)
