**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the pharmacist in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You will assist with medication dispensing, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Exceptional customer service
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Efficiently count, measure, package, and label prescriptions as per Pharmacy Standards
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and organizing medication storage.
- Accurately enter and maintain appropriate data within the applicable pharmacy systems.
- Maintain the OTC section and ensure it is clean, appropriately stocked, and organized.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with pharmacy team and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy requirements are upheld at all times.
- Maintain and operate cash register.
- Perform all other tasks assigned

**Skills**
- A diploma from an accredited pharmacy assistant program is an asset.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacy.
- Experience or knowledge in a previous pharmacy assistant position is preferred.
- Working Knowledge of kroll software is required
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- Problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is a plus but not required.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
