**Job Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private residences. This position requires a nurturing attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Police check and PSW certificate is required. Also, references preferred.

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's mental well-being.
- Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring client safety during transitions.
- Offer specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Support individuals with disabilities by providing tailored assistance based on their unique needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living or nursing homes is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Experience with hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively is required.
- Basic knowledge of medication administration protocols is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON (M3M): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Language**:

- Italian, Filipino (preferred)
