We are searching for a Social Worker to join our Arborstone Enhanced Care team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

Supports the admission, transfer (to other units), and discharge of residents in coordination with the interdisciplinary team
Provides counseling and therapy to residents and families as appropriate
Provides education sessions to residents and employees on a variety of topics
Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Prepares funding requests and reports relating to resident needs
Provides information, support and advice to family members/next of kin/power of attorney and other key stakeholders

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
Bachelor of Social Work
Current registration with the Provincial Association of Social Workers
A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
