Pine Falls, Canada Neighbourly Pharmacy Full time

Pine Pharmacy, located in Pine Falls, MB is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant. **This is a 1-year term position with the possibility of an extension.**
- 40 hours per week.
- This location is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- The usual shifts will fall between these days and times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice (under the supervision of a pharmacist).
- Receive written prescriptions from customers.
- Locate the medication, select the prescription container, and count/pour the medication.
- Attach the label to the prescription container.
- Ensure that the original container, prescription container contents, and label are checked and initialed by the pharmacist.
- Regularly phone customers for unclaimed prescriptions.
- Keep all areas of the pharmacy clean, neat, and professional.
- Maintain adequate stock of pharmacy supplies.
- Answer the pharmacy's telephone.
- Perform other tasks as outlined by the pharmacy manager or staff pharmacists.

**Qualifications**:

- No previous pharmacy experience is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
