**Position Summary**

The Account Manager will actively prospect for new business opportunities within a specific geographic region, utilizing a combination of in-person visits and cold calls utilizing effective communication skills. This role demands a strong sense of integrity, dedication, and exceptional interpersonal capabilities.

The Account Manager role requires a self-motivated and results-oriented individual who can build trust, drive sales growth, and provide exceptional service to clients. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the expansion and success of the company's client base within the contractor sector.

**Qualifications and Skills**

  • Proven track record in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the contractor industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment and meet ambitious sales quotas.
  • Knowledge of relevant market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel to customer and contractor sites.

**Key Responsibilities**

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated contractor accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong, enduring relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Process Oversight

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Prospecting and Business Development

  • Actively seek out new business prospects within the assigned geographic region.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
  • Develop compelling pitches and presentations to showcase the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Enhancing sales by strategically building the basket of offerings and services within our existing client base

Territory Management

  • Effectively manage and prioritize designated territories to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Organize and conduct in-person visits to customer and contractor sites to build rapport and understand their unique requirements.

Customer Engagement and Support

  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as store team and home office, to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Professional Image Maintenance

  • Uphold a positive and polished image of the company while representing its products and services.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, consistently reflecting the company's values and commitment to quality.

Performance Reporting and Analysis

  • Track and report on sales metrics, including progress towards targets, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics for continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

  • Promotes a culture of continuous learning and professional development by staying abreast of industry trends, market changes, and advancements in our product offerings.
  • Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and self-directed learning to maintain a high level of product knowledge.
