Beverage Cart

Pinestone Resort is committed to providing exceptional customer service to all guests, and the golf course is no exception. As a member of the golf course staff, you would have the opportunity to interact with guests and help create a memorable golf experience.

The Pinestone Resort and Conference Centre Overlooks 160 acres of lush “Cottage Country” landscape in the scenic Haliburton Highlands of Ontario. The area’s only full-service hotel with a golf course and restaurant, just two and a half hours from Toronto. Staff and Guests can enjoy an abundance of outdoor activities ranging from hiking, biking, golfing, fishing and swimming.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Maintaining all cart supplies and being available on the course to serve Members and guests in a timely manner.
- Accurately process transactions for purchases using the point-of-sale system, and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
- Ensure that the beverage cart and snack shack are clean and organized.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of products, restock supplies as needed, and report any shortages to management.
- Follow all food and beverage handling procedures and health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer customer questions, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Other duties as they are assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills and experience with point of sale (POS) systems
- Enthusiastic and Energetic
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and ability to adapt to changing schedules and customer needs.
- Basic math and cash handling skills, and ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Must have or able to obtain Smart Serve
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Familiarity with golf terminology, etiquette, and customs preferred, but not required.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
