**Job Description**:
CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE (CSA)

The Customer Service Associate will be responsible for working with US based customers on a day to day basis and handling inquiries received from customers to ensure that products and services are delivered in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with customers to handle day-to-day inquiries.
- Order entry and verification of customer orders for accuracy, load weight, pallet count, special considerations, etc.
- Order management including monitoring and updating of shipping dates and communicating updates/changes to internal and external customers.
- Develop strong customer relationships
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Preparing customer related reports
- May require some travel within North America

Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to communicate clearly and contact customers over the phone and build long-term customer centric relationships.
- Strong customer focus relationship-building ship building skills.
- High level of attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of order entry and reports.
- Ability to problem solve and “think outside the box.”
- Good organization skills.
- Strong/proven analytical skills.
- Practical experience with detail-oriented order entry, and detail-oriented research, face to face customer interactions.
- College or University degree/diploma in Business Administration or Operations/Inventory Control/Logistics/Supply Chain preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate customer service role in North America with direct experience managing orders and customer relationships preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Familiarity with JDE and Salesforce is an asset.
