Job description

**Some duties include(but not limited to)**:

- Planning developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities in a play-based environment
- Participating in physical activities
- Encouraging child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment and toys
- Teaching children the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and inclusiveness towards all living things
- Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing

**Requirements;**
- ECE level 1,2 or 3
- Related experience is an asset
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current clear Criminal Record Check in the vulnerable sector/Clear Child Welfare/Child Abuse Check

**-Own transportation. Reliable transportation to the Martensville location is required.**

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree, ECE Level I, II, III.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Certificate
- First Aid Certificate

Additional Skills
- Assist in maintaining records of children
- Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers

Children's Ages

6 weeks-6 years

Early Childhood Education Skills
- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Assess the developmental level of children
- Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
- Play and Exploration training is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.25-22.90

**Salary**: $16.25-$22.90 per hour
