This is a manufacturing plant-based role located in Red Deer, AB at Proform’s Precast Concrete Manufacturing facility, operating year-round. The QA/QC Technician is responsible for preforming daily concrete inspections (pre-pour and post-pour), aggregate and concrete testing, record keeping, and other duties as required to meet specifications and PROFORM’s Quality and Safety Standards.

**Job Duties**
- Inspect concrete products for flaws or defects.
- Concrete tests including slump, air, tempurature and strength.
- Aggregate sieves and moistures.
- Measure the accuracy of placement and layout of rebar or mesh cages against project blueprints.
- Calibration of testing equipment to ensure it meets specification.
- Review testing data to ensure products meet industry standards ASTM/CSA/CPCQA.
- Fulfill documentation and reporting requirements for the Quality program.
- Create reports of quality control tests and analyze the data to determine if any changes in the production process are necessary.
- Maintain non-conformance reporting (NCR) system.
- Develop performance improvement targets for quality, service, and efficiency.
- Assist with audits.

**Required Education and Experience**
- Diploma in Materials Testing Technology or 3-years experience in concrete QA/QC activities.
- Self‐motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive team‐oriented attitude
- Ability to meet company certification standards

**Working Conditions**
- Work in a loud construction environment.
- Work both inside and outside in all seasons.
- Overtime as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
