**Job Description**:
As a member of our Shelter Support Community Care Crew, you will play a critical role in providing frontline medical and support services at the Monarch Landing Low Barrier Shelter. This position requires a compassionate approach to care, adeptness in medical emergencies, and a commitment to the principles of harm reduction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide medical assessment and first aid to site visitors and guest as needed.
- Coordinate with medical professionals and emergency services for advanced care.
- Implement harm reduction strategies and support shelter staff in medical or crisis situations.
- Document care provided and participate in the development of care plans.
- Contribute to the training and development of other shelter staff on basic health care and emergency response.
- Engage with residents to promote health, safety, and wellbeing.

Qualifications:

- Recent graduate from a certified paramedic program.
- Licensed to practice as a paramedic in New Brunswick.
- Experience in emergency medical services or community health settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the values of equity, compassion, and respect.
- Ability to work shifts covering 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
