**Rotation/Shifts**:
Days and nights, including weekends, 12 hours shifts (07:00-19:00, 19:00-07:00).

**Basic Requirements**:
- Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Six (6) months recent patient care experience as an Orderly/OR attendant at TOH, former General, Riverside or Civic Hospitals
- OR successful completion of an accredited Health Care program with 6 months recent patient care experience (i.e. Patient Care Assistant, Health Care Aide, Personal Support Worker, nursing assistant, physiotherapy/occupational therapy assistant, or Registered Practical Nurse)
- OR currently enrolled in a health related course with 6 months recent patient care experience;
- Basic knowledge of established Infection Control and Occupational Health & Safety practices;
- Basic knowledge of sterility and aseptic technique;
- Knowledge of body mechanics, and safe lift and transfer practices;
- CPR (Heartsaver or BCLS);
- Good oral/written communication and listening skills are required to communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients, and visitors;
- Ability to cope with change in patient condition;
- Good decision-making skills to prioritize work;
- Basic math skills required for monitoring intake/output.**Please Note**:
