Employment Community Support Team Worker
**POSITION**:Community Support Team Worker - Community Services**

**LOCATION**:Kenora, Ontario

**CLOSING DATE**:September 26, 2025**

**POSITION STATUS**:

- This position will provide wraparound, trauma-responsive support to female inclusive youth ages 12 to emerging adult. This position offers gender-inclusive, harm reduction based, and client-centered care with a strong focus on cultural safety and relationship-based practice. The role emphasizes supporting youth in the community and engaging with families and service partners to promote long-term safety, healing, and social integration. The hours of work will reflect the needs of the youth involved in the program which may include evenings and weekends.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Preferred Minimum Qualifications**:

- Honors Bachelor of Social Work (H.B.S.W) registered and in good standing with the OCSWSSW, or equivalent education in related field, PLUS three (3) years of direct experience in supporting high-risk youth.
- Applicants with equivalent qualifications and relevant lived or work experience will also be considered.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of specialized/high-risk populations, especially as its impacts youth and young adults.
- Proven ability to deliver trauma-responsive, culturally informed, and gender-inclusive support to young women and girls.
- Experience in case management, systems navigation, crisis response, youth outreach and community-based care.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Intergenerational trauma, systemic oppression, and the experiences of equity-deserving populations.
- Understanding of challenges faced by 2SLGBTQIA+, Indigenous, racialized, and newcomer youth.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.

**SALARY**:
Range from $35.25 to $40.79 / hour
