Over view:
Our shop is looking to add a highly skilled auto glass technician to its growing team. In this role, you will specialize in helping our customers with their windshields and windows. A major part of the job is to help repair the cracks and broken parts of their auto glass.

We will also rely on you to install new windshields and windows when they are necessary. Weatherproofing is another task that you will be asked to complete. It will be your job to use best practices in order to prepare our clients’ windows and windshields for the harshest weather conditions, such as snow and freezing temperatures.

To do well as an auto glass technician at our shop, you will need to knowledgeable in auto glass and capable of handling all sorts of different repairs with mínimal oversight.

**Primary duties include but not limited to**:

- Performing all aspects of Automotive Glass Work
- Assessing glass damage
- Removing damaged glass
- Understanding and following glass installation procedure
- Performing rock chip repairs
- Use a variety of tools to complete repairs as efficiently as possible
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders
- Ability to learn/stay current with the newest techniques and materials
- Performing quality control checks on vehicles
- Maintaining work station and shop cleanliness
- Day to day interactions with colleagues and vendors

**Qualifications**:

- Ticketed technician preferred however, qualified apprentices will also be considered
- Class 5 Drivers License - ability to drive automatic and manual
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure and fast paced environment. Be self-governing, proactive, and responsible for accomplishing goals with limited supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

**Auto Glass Technician Requirements**:

- Ticketed technician preferred however, qualified apprentices will also be considered
- Previous experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of modern auto glass
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Excellent customer service skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
