Together, we are building better bakeries. **The Bread and Butter of the Position** Reporting to the Director of Operations, the **Warehouse & Delivery Operations Supervisor **will ensure leadership, supervision and smooth operations of the Warehouse and Delivery of Portofino products. The Warehouse & Delivery Operations Supervisorprides our delivery practices as an extension of our sales model, cultivating and fostering a superior customer service culture within the team. This is a full-time, salaried position. The expected work hours for this role will be 40 hours a week. Both the days of work and start/end times will shift from time to time depending on the needs of the business. **Roles and Responsibilities** Order Building: - Supervise the team of Warehouse/Inventory Team Members and Transfer Drivers, ensuring orders are built according to route manifest in a productive and accurate manner and products are being received according to policy. - Ensures that all team members are working safely, following all guidelines and policies. - Work with Warehouse/Inventory Team leads to ensure consistent leadership shift coverage - Ensure smooth communications between Warehouse/Inventory Team Members and other teams in the business - Ensure daily administration tasks are completed - Provide staff with leadership, direction, encouragement, and development opportunities - Resolves conflict and ensures a high level of team morale - Maintains the technical ability to effectively work within the department Warehouse: - Take personal ownership of the Warehouse as a business within the business - Ensure the safety and security of all elements of the warehouse - Maintain high cleanliness and organizational standards - Complete the Daily Pre-Operational checklist - Ensure all incoming supplies and finished product meet food safety standards and are stored and received according to Standard Operating Procedures - Complete and maintain records related to all GMP and HACCP activities accurately - Report and initiate corrective actions on issues related to Order Building and Warehousing - Store materials following FIFO system guidelines - Order new supplies in a timely manner - Constantly improve processes. Make suggestions for productivity improvements and optimize employee workflow - Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
