Hey, we’re Modern Gravity.

Since 2014 we’ve been using float tanks to help the community relax, reduce stress and simply enjoy life.

We’re looking for someone to fill one of our open “studio operator” positions. Right now you may be asking, what is a “studio operator” and what do they do? Luckily everything has been explained below.

**Studio Operator Responsibilities**

A studio operator is somebody who facilitates floats for our customers and are in charge of the following tasks:

- Learning how to use our scheduling and operation management software.
- Helping new visitors get comfortable and situated before their experience.
- Operating the schedule to ensure customers access their appointments on time.
- Talking with profoundly relaxed people after their experience.
- Managing issues with customer accounts.
- Preparing the float rooms for new customers after previous appointments end.
- Laundry, lots of laundry..
- Maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of our facilities.
- Answering questions our customers may have via text & phone calls.
- Sales and operation of a point-of-sale system.

**Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail, and appreciates keeping things clean and tidy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently (the studio is run by one person at a time)
- Ability to lift weights up to 22.7KG (50lbs)
- The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing (via text) is important.

**Shifts & Availability**
- Mornings: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Evenings: 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Tuesday Morning Cleaning & Maintenance: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (includes $50 shift premium)
