**The Role**:
The **Metal Shop Fabricator** is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal components and structures according to technical specifications and blueprints. The role demands precision, efficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

**Key Technical Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, welding, bending, and assembling.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Skilled in using tools and machinery such as saws, drills, grinders, welding equipment, etc.
- Familiarity with various metals and alloys, including their properties and best practices for handling.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and assemble metal components based on detailed blueprints and specifications.
- Operate and maintain metalworking tools and machinery with precision.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Perform equipment maintenance and report any issues requiring repairs.
- Assist in developing and improving shop fabrication processes for increased efficiency.
