The Business Consultant (BC) is the lead consultative resources for Lexmark CFT and customers. Responsible for pre-sales and post-sales Discovery workshops that demonstrate and deliver value and cost reduction through Lexmark Optra and Edge IoT solution.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

- Discovery workshop plans
- Assessment findings of key current and future state processes, data analysis, recommendations
- Functional requirements
- Business Case

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs all process discoveries for clients. Interviews clients for requirements, identifies business needs or problems and determines integration and document solutions opportunities.
- Generates current and future state maps for data analysis, workflow and implementation. Provide findings/proposal deliverables that lead to decision points that Sales team can leverage to close deals.
- Employs knowledge of the market, industry and customer metrics to represent opportunity
- Consult with Customer as Subject Matter Expert, providing insight into potential solutions that create value and improve the Customer business performance
- Responsible for the creation and execution of a Statement of Work (SoW) for a single large account and/or multiple complex small accounts.
- Responsible to build and grow a high trust relationship with key contacts within the Customer environment
- Participates with sales lead to develop proposals and RFP responses
- Support Platform and Data Science teams in defining and executing projects in customer accounts.
- Elicits Customer endorsements for Lexmark Solutions and feeds them to Sales and Marketing to create Success Stories
- Ability to determine how the client’s organization functions; understand the origin and rationale behind key policies, practices, and procedures in order to achieve the desired result
- Demonstrates discipline in following standard practices and develops or enhances practices as needed by the Customer or Lexmark.
- Maintain sufficient dialogue with Customer key technical contacts to understand priority business initiatives.
- Identifies and provides recommendations for process and productivity improvements and cost reductions for both the Customer and Lexmark
- Promote the value of the Customer / Lexmark relationship within the Customer, Lexmark and all third-party organizations
- A recognized strong team player known for consistent delivery of quality to the customer
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (2-3 times per month)

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:
**WORK** HISTORY**:

- Experience with managing multiple complex projects; preferably with multi-disciplined teams
- Significant experience interacting with industry leading customers
- Strong analytical/procedural background preferably in output management
- A minimum of five (5) years project management and consulting experience

**TECHNICAL COMPETENCE**:

- Excellent skills in MS Office Suite including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. MS Visio and MS Power BI preferred; working knowledge and MS office suite basic skills are required
- Basic knowledge of software implementation, Microsoft Agile methodologies, and tools
- Experience in documenting current and future state business/operations processes
- Demonstrated ability to influence & negotiate
- Strong project management skills; prefer working knowledge of Microsoft Project
