**Collections Lead**

Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for a Collections Lead to join our Oakville head office team. The Collections Team Lead is responsible for managing and guiding a team of Collections Specialist who will be responsible for their daily collections activities. They will also be responsible for their own portfolio of assigned accounts.

**What you will do as a Collections Lead**:

- Lead a team of Collection Specialists. Guide team to resolve problems that might delay payment of accounts to expedite cash collections.
- Help manage the day-to-day activities with the team
- Tasked with identifying and resolving problems that might delay payment of accounts receivable cash collection and/or affect customer satisfaction
- Tasked with meeting and/or exceeding assigned collection targets
- Manage the team to research, identify and resolve unapplied payments in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the parties involved to review contracts, orders, and invoices to reconcile and resolve customer disputes
- Responsible for weekly cash forecasting to ensure reliable information presented and the SOP is aligned
- Weekly and monthly reporting as determined by management
- Assist in any ad hoc projects, including audits

**Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years in a leadership role with demonstrated experience managing a collections or an accounts receivable portfolio.
- Flexibility in work schedule when required
- Must be able to work as part of a team with peers and leadership within organization.
