**Overview**

To provide training initial and recurrent training and proactively promote a ‘safety first’ culture.

As a PAX Training Supervisor you will be responsible for delivering and coordinating training to fulfil our service standards for our Customer Airlines.

You will ensure that our Customer Service is delivered safely, on time and through a process of following policy, supporting the field operation to introduce safe working procedures, training and proactive audit programs. This role is responsible for driving corporate training and the administration of the field station training programs for Passenger Service operations through hands on and verbal instruction.

**Main accountabilities include**:

- Schedule, conduct initial and recurrent training
- Schedule and conduct Menzies Above The Wing training
- Schedule and conduct Passenger Boarding Bridge training
- Ensures the safe and correct control of all resources at check-in and boarding
- Complies with all Airlines Ground Handling Regulations
- Support corporate compliance with applicable Management of Health and Safety at Work
- Support employees and supervisors in undertaking the proactive and preventative measures necessary to achieve compliance with health and safety legislation as it applies to
- Full compliance and implementation at all times of the following:

- Airline Handling Manuals
- Airports Disruption Management Policy
- Customer Service Promise
- Communications Promise
- POA (Person of Accountability) procedures
- Report any breaches of statutory requirements or company best practice to
- Maintain compliance with all government, customer and company policies/procedures.
- Must be able to travel to other Stations when
- Must be able to hold and maintain Airport security clearance
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Must have and maintain Transport Canada Security
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience on the following fields:

- Amelia
- Airline Choice
- Passenger Check-in
- Ticketing
- Passenger Boarding Bridge
- World Tracer
- Must have experience on Air Bridges (Passenger Boarding Bridges)
- High school diploma with at least two (2) years of experience in Above The Wing operations in a Lead / Supervisor or Training
- Must have previous experience as a Passenger Service Agent and have a satisfactory safety/performance record
- Must be certified trainer for customer or be able to successfully complete and pass the training
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in
- Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Thorough knowledge of ground handling operations, aviation security, safety practices, legislation, and customer supplier relationships
- Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances
- Understanding of the wider airport operational
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs when required
- Experience and understanding of the commercial issues in
- Experience in Health and Safety Management
