ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Advisor Vendor Management, you will be a reference on critical vendor agreements at PSP and responsible for managing vendor relationships in partnership with various management teams. You will support the implementation of vendor governance and management monitoring models and be creative in addressing various vendor issues.
In addition, you will prepare, negotiate and conclude contractual agreements with I.T. vendors in line with PSP's new strategic orientations. You will also work in partnership with the Security, Risk, Compliance and Legal Affairs teams.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational supplier management- Monitor the performance of the most complex commercial agreements and the overall relationship with service providers- Ensure regular monitoring of supplier performance (KPIs, service levels, contractual commitments)- Facilitate the management of supply contracts, including reporting relationship issues and advising on possible solutions- Contribute to identifying cost optimization opportunities with internal stakeholders- Support the preparation and follow-up of supplier governance meetings- Track ongoing requests and projects with clients and suppliers- Manage escalations with problematic suppliers and negotiate possible solutions
Contractual support & compliance- Advise internal teams on the implications of key contractual clauses, ensuring informed decision-making in major agreements (services, SLAs, penalties)- Contribute to contract renewal planning by preparing analyses and documentation- Monitor contractual changes (Change Requests, Change Orders) under the direction of management Analysis, reporting & dashboards- Consolidate and analyze data related to supplier performance and third-party risks, and propose appropriate business strategies- Produce follow-up reports and contribute to the design of performance dashboards (KPIs). Provide strategic recommendations to management committees based on supplier performance analysis, influencing decision-making on vendor strategy and risk mitigation
Collaboration & internal support- Advise & work closely with sourcing teams and internal stakeholders to ensure proper service performance- Support vendor segmentation initiatives and performance evaluations- Maintain effective collaboration between IT and business sectors to enhance supplier management practices
Supplier relations- Act as a point of contact for certain assigned key suppliers- Support issue resolution or contractual ambiguities under the guidance of the Director Vendor Governance
WHAT YOU’LL NEED- Bachelor's degree in business administration (including Supply Chain Management), Engineering, Law or Information Technology- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in a procurement and vendor management role- Experience with IT contracts is essential- Ability to stay abreast of I.T. trends and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the serviced business lines- Proficiency in English and French _(frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)_
