Marine Technician

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform routine maintenance on marine engines, electrical systems, and other onboard equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance of vessels.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for repairs and installations.
- Conduct inspections of marine vessels to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.

**Qualifications**
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to marine systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to marine repair tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in marine repair or a related field is preferred but not required.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
